1 General A 2 Boot Technical Specification for CSSR Boot/Hard Toe Steel Shank Boot Specifications High Ankle Hard Toe Safety Boot made with Rubber sole complying IS 15298 Part 2: 2024 or CE 0321 or EN ISO 20345 i) Boot should provide safety and comfort to the rescuers during hostile working environment of CSSR operation. ii) It should preferably have laces for quick and easy wearing. iii) The size of the boot shall be provided at the time of supply order. 3 Upper Construction i. Upper should be made of full grain /black corrected grain leather. 4 Sole/Heel 5 Toe Cap 6 Sole Toe Cap Standardizati on ii. It should have padding for comfort wearing. iii. Height of the upper should be in accordance with IS 15298 part 2, 5.2.1 /EN ISO 20344:2004, 6.2 iv. Upper construction material should have the following characteristics: a) Flame retardant upper with heat insulation (EN ISO 15025) b) Water resistance (EN ISO 20344:2004, 5.15.1 & 5.15.2) Sole should be made of PU/ Rubber Sole and Heel should consist of: - i. Flame/heat retardant property (EN ISO 20344:2004, 5.12 & 5.13) ii. Fuel/oil resistant property (Chemical) IS 17011 iii. Slip resistant. iv. Abrasion resistant for extra durability. v. Footwear shall comply with / High Voltage test as per ASTM F 2413/ISO 20344:2004 Toe cap should consist of: i. Non - Metallic toe cap designed to protect toes from impacts up to 200 J and compression at 15 KN (EN ISO 20344:2004, 5.4 &5.5) ii. Тое-cap should provide reliable protection in cold & hot environment. Sole (part and 1) Upper should comply with IS 15298 2024/ ISO 22568-2 resistance & penetration of insert ISO 22568-4. M Proposed trial directives To be physically checked by the BОО and verified with relevant Certificates To be physically checked by the board of officers.
